Slot Canyon #7 - Intrusions 49 x 39 - $2000

I made this at the end of 2020 and here is the artist statement.

With every twist and turn of life I am drawn to the light to pull me  from darkness and despair. As 2020 comes to a close I reflect on the brighter things resulting from the pandemic, families spending more time together, connecting with people far and wide via ZOOM and more time for spiritual reflection.

This one is silk, reverse appliqued to black felt. The machine quilting continues into the felt boarder.
