Bold Graphic Landscapes
In this class you will construct Vicki’s toadstool rock formation pattern in order to learn her turned edge machine piecing technique as well as the fussy piecing technique she uses on her signature skies. You have a choice of either of these two patterns. This is a one-day class either on Zoom or in person. Please see hiring information here.
Vicki uses Floriani Stitch and Wash Fusible tearaway stabilizer to construct the entire quilt. This gets soft and can remain in the piece for lovely stability.
This is not applique but a clean turned edge technique that can be used for bold landscapes or portraits.
The fussy piecing she will teach for the sky can also be used as a lovely background for other projects.
